Levenson installs sculptures at KAA

KENT—Conrad Levenson, a sculptor living in the Hudson Valley who works in scrap metal, found and obsolete objects, has installed three of his sculptures in the front yard of the Kent Art Associations building, 21 South Main Street.  

These sculptures can be viewed at any time as they are installed outside and have been placed by Levenson so they are engaged in a trialogue with one another. Levenson says his “sculptures evoke the former times, places, lives, unique character and embedded energy of their source materials.”

The works Sherman Artists Association artists are on view from Friday, Aug. 2nd through Saturday, Aug. 31.This show consists of 38 artists working in a variety of mediums. Viewing days and hours at KAA are Thursdays through Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sundays, noon to 4 p.m. The opening reception is Friday, Aug. 2, 6 to 8 p.m. Enjoy live music, refreshments and meet the artists.
