The closest to the pin prize will call for a shoot-out among the top four players for a $50,000 prize. Prizes will also be awarded for the longest drive (male and female), straightest drive and closest to the line.

Registration is $250 per golfer and includes cart, greens fees, course refreshments and a three-course dinner at the Fife ‘n Drum. Non-golfing dinner tickets are $60 per person. For more information, email golf@kentfire.org or call 860-671-0398.

The 18-hole course was designed by famed golf course designer Tom Fazio and remains his only design in the state, and one of only three in New England.
