KHS annual meeting to explore state’s Doughboys

KENT—The Kent Historical Society will present “Remembering Connecticut’s Doughboys” at its annual meeting Sunday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m. at Kent Town Hall, Kent Green Blvd.

Doughboy was a popular nickname for the American infantryman during World War I.

The lecture will be preceded by a short business meeting for the KHS membership, but everyone is encouraged to attend.
