Kent Lions announce scholarship opportunities

KENT—The Kent Lions Club is offering up to three scholarships for graduating high school students planning to obtain higher education. Those who are interested in applying, or who know someone who might be, should visit the Kent Lions website and click on the scholarship tab.

Applicants must live in Kent and have graduated from Kent Center School and/or one of the following high schools: Housatonic Valley Regional HS, Kent School, Marvelwood School, South Kent School or Oliver Wolcott. 

In addition, one scholarship will be awarded to a returning college student focusing on leadership and community volunteer service.

The deadline for applications is May 15th.
