KENT – Kent Park and Recreation is offering a sales opportunity and a treasure hunt in The Kent Collectibles Community-Wide Tag Sale June 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants can approach it as if the whole town is turned into a treasure map, with residents setting up shop right from their homes. For those that want to sell items, $5 gets a spot on the map (the place one will be holding a tag sale). Anyone who is unable to hold a tag sale one’s property or location, can secure a spot outside Kent Town Hall or at Kent Commons Park for $10.

Kent Commons Park will have 12 prime spots and Town Hall offers up 10 parking spots for one’s selling pleasure.

There is more to the scavenger hunt being offered during the tag sale. Those who want to crack the clues will be able to win a sweet prize to be first or a raffle awaits all other adventurers for a chance to win a little treasure.

Registration is available at www.kentctparkandrec.org.

For more information, contact Matt Busse, Park and Recreation director, 860-927-1003 or parkandrec@townofkentct.org
