Kent Art Association Spring Juried Show

KENT—The Kent Art Association will open its Spring Juried Show April 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. There are 40 artists from the region displaying 95 works, including sculpture, watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media, pastel, photography, charcoal and mono prints.

The Best of Show award went to Beth Carlson for her oil painting “Two by Two.” The show closes May 4, and regular viewing days and hours at KAA are Thursday through Saturday, 1-5 p.m. and Sundays from noon-4 p.m.

The Kent Art Association is looking for volunteers in a variety of capacities. Those interested in learning more should contact the association by phone at 860-927-3989 or by email at kentartassociation@gmail.com.
