KCS roof repair work starts this weekend

KENT – The Kent Center School roofing project is starting this weekend,

In an email communication to residents Tuesday, June 11, First Selectman Marty Lindenmayer wrote that KCS Principal Michelle Mott said the roofing company is going to begin its work this weekend.

The first step is vacuuming the rocks off of the roof to prep it for construction. Mott warned that it may be uncharacteristically noisy—particularly for neighbors in the Judd Avenue neighborhood.

The entire project will take about a month, but this is the only weekend they will be working. All other work will take place Mondays through Fridays.

Any questions specific to the project schedule should be directed to Mott at 860-927-3537.
