KENT—The Kent Art Association’s will hold its Member’s Show and Mary Terrizzi’s solo show titled “Garden of Delights,” in July.

“Chocolate Bunny” by Mary Terrizzi, Digital Collage 2024

Join the KAA for the opening reception, Friday, July 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. The show is on view until Saturday, July 27. The Member’s Show consists of 30 artists working in a variety of mediums.

Terrizzi’s work blurs the lines between the tangible and the intangible. Each piece is a journey through layers of accumulated imagery, meaning and time periods, inviting viewers to explore the hidden connections and narratives within. Her love for abstraction led her to digital collage which allows her to experiment freely and push the boundaries of traditional collage. She says, “When creating artwork, I follow feeling, color, memory and intuition.”

Viewing days and hours at KAA are Thursday through Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.

The Kent Art Association is looking for volunteers in a variety of capacities. If interested in learning more, contact the association by phone at 860-927-3989 or by email kentartassociation@gmail.com.

Formed in 1923, KAA is one of the state’s oldest art associations. It is located at 21 South Main St.; www.kentart.org
