Hiking group forming at Emery Park

KENT—A weekly hiking group is being formed by Park and Recreation Director Matt Busse. All hiking abilities are welcome to join in the activities Tuesdays, June 18 through Aug. 27, at 6:15 p.m. at Emery Park. The hike begins at 6:30 p.m.

Leonard Mountain at Emery Park.

The hike will go to the summit and lookout of Leonard Mountain. It is free and open to all aged 18 and older. Hikers should bring water, hiking attire and shoes, bug spray, a snack and any other items they might want. For more information, contact Busse at 860-927-1003 or parkandrectownofkentct.org.
