CORNWALL—A group with the United Church of Christ in Cornwall is making sleeping mats for the homeless out of plastic bags.

The group started meeting again, 6:30 to 8 p.m., Feb. 26 at the church and is looking for anyone who would like to help flatten or cut bags, make “plarn” (plastic yarn) or crocheters (a task that can be done at home if you don’t wish to meet in person). Questions can be directed to office@uccincornwall.org.
