LITCHFIELD—State Senator Stephen Harding (R-30th), a Brookfield resident, and his challenger, Justin Potter, of Kent, will have a one-on-one debate on Friday, Oct. 18, at 6:30 p.m. at Lakeview High School, formerly Wamogo, in Litchfield.
While they participated in a candidates’ forum a few days earlier, this is the only one-on-one debate they will have.
The opponents agree on some issues—such as the need to stabilize and lower utility rates and lower the cost of living—but they differ on issues such as gun safety and the need for affordable housing.
