Halloween Lurking at Library

KENT—Halloween is in the air and the Kent Memorial Library is reenforcing the mood. It will screen Carnival of Souls Thursday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. during Outdoor Movie Night behind the library. Residents are invited to bundle up against the cool October evening to enjoy the free presentation.

That same day parent-teacher conferences will be held at Kent Center School and students will be dismissed early. The library will help parents by screening Encanto in the Junior Room from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. All ages are welcome to participate but parents who have KCS Parent/Teacher conferences must register with the time of their conferences. Otherwise, this is not a drop off.

Saturday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m. there will be a Spooky Storytime, followed by a Mini-Masquerade Costume Party at 11:30. Children should come dressed in their favorite costume to enjoy a spooky Storytime and stay for some Halloween activities. All ages are welcome to participate. Registration is appreciated by calling 860-927-3761 or emailing to register. Alternatively, register online.
