KENT—A Furniture Restoration Workshop will be led by Max Smith Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23, at the Eric Sloane Museum, 31 Kent Cornwall Rd., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for those age 16 and older.

Participants will dive into the world of furniture conservation during this two-day class—from assessing materials to mastering cleaning tricks and problem-solving. They should bring along furniture projects to restore during the class.

Suggested pieces include small coffee tables, end tables, chairs, antique clock cases, small wood sculptural pieces, and the like. Students will be guided through the process of restoring their individual pieces.

There is a fee of $150. Pre-registration is required. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
