The film honors the legacy of Martin Litton, who saved the Grand Canyon by preventing the Marble Canyon Dam from being built. He believed the best way for people to understand how important it was to preserve the canyon was to have them experience this secret world from the river, but not just in any boat.

As an introduction, at 6:30 p.m., Scott Barnes, whose own photography of the river is being exhibited at the gallery, will share his experience of going down the Colorado River and how he is paying homage to the beauty of the American Southwest. The screening follows at 7 p.m.

FotoDiary will be open until 8:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Rain cancels the event.
