She has been an important voice in efforts to make newsrooms more diverse and remains active in the industry. Join Kent News, Inc., publishers of The Kent Good Times Dispatch in the Reading Room of Kent Memorial Library to hear from Cheryl about how she started in local journalism and her rise to become the first female executive producer of a nightly newscast.
