KENT—A free Drug Enforcement Administration Take Back Day will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Kent Transfer Station at 38 Maple St.

The event offers a confidential and safe way to dispose of unused or expired medications.

The DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day reflects its commitment to encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting.
