KENT, Conn.— Brrr! It’s been cold outside. What better way to counter the chill than with the warm conviviality of the Kent Volunteer Fire Department’s monthly, “Big Win” Community Breakfast, featuring all the traditional comfort foods: eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats and endless coffee or tea.

The Kent Volunteer Fire Department’s next Big Win breakfast is Sunday, Jan. 26, at its headquarters at 28 Maple St. File photo

The next breakfast will be this Sunday, Jan. 26, from 7 to 11:30 a.m. at the firehouse, 28 Maple St. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children younger than 8.
