Audition master class announced for Jan. 24

SHARON—Sharon Playhouse will hold an audition master class for teens and adults with Ricky Oliver Friday, Jan. 24, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. to help aspirants nail their monologues or musical theater songs. The accompanist will be Dan Koch.

Oliver also conducts the Playhouse’s Studying the Scene program and is the coordinator of actor training at the Hartt School Theatre Division, University of Hartford.

There are limited openings for the class, which will be held in The Bok, 49 Amenia Rd. Participants should bring their memorized monologue or 16 to 32 bars of a song with sheet music.
