Veterans Day Events Announced

KENT—Saturday at 11 a.m., the precise day and time that World War I ended in 1918, Kent American Legion Post 153 will hold a brief ceremony at the corner of Route 341 and Swift’s Lane, next to Swift House, in honor of Veterans Day.

Lunch follows at St Andrew’s Parish House for veterans, their families and friends.

The Town Hall will be closed Friday in honor of Veteran’s Day.
