Open House hosted by Literacy Volunteers on the Green

NEW MILFORD—In celebration of International Literacy Day, Literacy Volunteers on the Green (LVG) is hosting an Open House Tuesday, Sept. 10.

The organization invites prospective tutors and members of the community to the event to meet staff, students, tutors and board members. The event offers opportunities to observe tutor/student learning teams. Light refreshments will be served.

LVG offices are located at 7 Whittlesey Ave. in St. John’s Church at the Parish Hall entrance on the Town Green. There are three sessions of the Open House: 10 to 11 a.m., 1 to 2 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m.
