SALISBURY, Conn.—There will be a “Hands Off” protest on the lawn of the White Hart Inn at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, as part of Indivisible’s Nationwide Day of Protests. It will be a local event for all interested residents of the Northwest Corner.

There are hundreds of Hands Off protests being organized across the country, including major rallies in Washington, D.C., New York City and other large cities, as well as in Hartford.

Hands Off is protesting recent and planned cuts to various programs and services such as those at the Department of Education, the U.S. Postal Service, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and the Veteran’s Administration.

The event will be held rain or shine.
