Furry Scaly Friends coming to library event Aug. 10

KENT—Join the Kent Memorial Library at the Golden Falcon Field, 20 North Main St., for a special event in partnership with Furry Scaly Friends at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10.

More than 20 different critters, from furry to scaly, will be on hand to be petted, fed and photographed. Furry Scaly Friends full menagerie includes ferrets, long-haired guinea pigs, sugar gliders, rabbits, hedgehogs, chinchilla, prairie dogs, sulcata tortoises, a mini pig, turtle, fire skink, ackie monitor, red footed tortoise, and many more. 

This event will be moved inside to the library’s Junior Room in case of rain or excessive heat. Children of all ages are welcome to participate. Registration is appreciated by calling or emailing to register.
