Annual Meeting and CT Bobcat Project Presentation

On 1/18 at 2pm at Town Hall, join the Kent Memorial Library for a very brief meeting about the Library’s year, followed by a special presentation.
Bobcat sightings on our property and across our state are not as rare as you think! Join Ginny Apple as she shares information about the natural history of this most elusive creature. Learn about The Connecticut Bobcat Project and what biologists have learned from data collected over two years from placing of wildlife cameras throughout our state.
Ginny Apple, Master Wildlife Conservationist with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, is involved with the Connecticut Bobcat Project. GPS collars allow researchers to learn more about where bobcats live in Connecticut…even in the state’s big cities!
