Donations Sought for Holiday Baskets

KENT—The Kent Food Bank needs extra donations of all sorts. Monetary donations in any amount will help volunteers put holiday food baskets together for the 38 households the food bank will serve this holiday season.

Social Services Director Samantha Hasenflue expresses thanks to all who support the food bank’s efforts, whether through donations received or through the hours spent volunteering for the department throughout the year.

Among those who received her special thanks was Sundog Shoe and Leather, which donated more than 140 pairs of shoes for Kent Food Bank participants.
