KENT—Two late-fall outdoor concerts are planned to benefit the Kent Food Bank ending the 2023 Summer Concert Series. The Wanda Houston Band will perform Friday, Oct. 20, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on the Kent Land Trust Field, 37 South Main St., followed on Oct. 27 by a concert presented by the Kenn Morr Band.

The concerts are free, but donations will be accepted. Bring a chair or blanket, a picnic dinner, or buy tasty treats at the neighboring Farmers Market. Parking opens at 3 p.m. Inclement weather will cancel either concert. The concerts are sponsored by Kent Land Trust, Kent Park & Rec, Kent Lions and Kent Greenhouse & Gardens
