SHARON—Violinists Marla Rathbun and Rachel Evans and organist Jon Lafleur will perform four Mozart church/epistle sonatas at Christ Church, Sunday Aug. 4, at the 9:00 a.m. Morning Prayer Service.

The young Mozart composed 17 church sonatas when employed by the Archbishop of Salzburg in the 1770s.

All three are established musicians. Rathbun and Evans have careers as soloists, ensemble players and symphony orchestra members working with professionals. Kent resident LaFleur taught grades kindergarten through 12 and conducted youth and adult choirs in churches in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Italy. He founded the Kent Singers.

The public is invited to enjoy the service.
