This year’s holiday show will be “A Christmas Carol,” adapted by Doris Baizley and co-directed by Andrus Nichols and Drew Ledbetter.

Local actors, singers and movers between the ages of 11 and 18 are invited to audition for this production.

Rehearsals will run from Nov. 9 through Dec. 17, with performances in The Bok at The Sharon Playhouse, 49 Amenia Road, from Dec. 18-22.

Rehearsals will take place a few weekday evenings and one or two weekend days each week.

A conflict sheet will be submitted at auditions so that a master schedule can be crafted. Actors will not be called on all days and times on the conflict sheet. There is some flexibility during this period, as the organizers know students have other commitments.

Times when students are available will be collected to create a rehearsal schedule that best serves the whole company. Once the show is cast, a final rehearsal schedule will be distributed by Saturday, Nov. 9.

Tech rehearsals will take place between Dec. 14 and Dec. 17. Performances will be Dec. 18-20 at 7 p.m., Dec. 21, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. The actor’s call time will be 90 minutes before curtain.

All actors will be required to participate in striking the set on Dec. 22, after the show finishes from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
